North Kensington Library Condition Survey
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea commissioned Frankham Consultancy Group to carry out a condition survey of this Library. It included condition of the basic structure and fabric of the building, walls, floors, roof, windows and doors. Condition of interior decoration were only required if affected by building fabric defects.
The survey was to include the drains in and serving the building. The survey was to highlight any work required immediately, and also any work required within the next five years.
As part of these works, a topographical survey was also commissioned. Using our HDS laser scanners the library was surveyed and 2D floor plans and cross-sections of the building were produced.
